Robert Paige and the Holy City Sinners are:
Robert Paige
Robert Paige is a veteran of both national and regional music scenes. Having founded Atlanta based
band “The Urban Shakedancers” and touring with “The Black Crowes” his experiences have molded him into
an artist that you can’t take your eyes off of. His guitar influences include Otis Rush, Hubert
Sumlin, Jimmy Page, and Duane Allman to name a few. Incorporating emotion packed finger work and
blazing slide guitar into every performance makes Robert a sure crowd pleaser. His vocal ability
is powerful and unique, easily switching styles from crooning to belting out the blues. Robert
Paige is a crowd-pleasing performer to the end.
Matt Kearney
Matt has played in the Atlanta music scene for over 10 years. His talent as both a saxophone player
and vocalist have made him a highly sought after sideman in many of Atlanta’s premier bands. Having
recently moved to Charleston, he called his old friend Robert Paige and started the wheels rolling on
a new project. Matt is a master at creating soulful ballads, tasteful accents, and screeching
blues with his saxophone.
Bones
Daniel Jones has been in the Charleston music scene since his arrival in 96, most successfully with
“The Daniel Jones Band”. Some of the venues he has played include Cumberlands, Salty Mikes, The Wind Jammer,
The Reef, and Momma’s Blues Palace. Daniel began playing bass with Robert in early 2002 and together
with Josh Kohl lay down an infectious groove that keep people on the dance floor.
Josh Kohl
Joshua moved to Charleston from Chattanooga in 1995. He quickly immersed himself in the Charleston
music scene and is a funny moving drummer on a small drum kit. From punk to rock to jazz, and rock
to beach to boogie and blues his performance is enthusiastic, innovative, and exciting.
